FlowFocus is built with a privacy-first philosophy. We believe your productivity data is personal and should stay that way. This Privacy Policy explains how FlowFocus handles your information — the short version is: we don't collect any of it.
Data Collection
FlowFocus does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Specifically:
- ✓No personal information is collected (name, email, phone number, etc.)
- ✓No usage analytics or tracking of any kind
- ✓No cookies, advertising identifiers, or fingerprinting
- ✓No third-party SDKs, analytics services, or ad networks
- ✓No crash reporting or diagnostic data sent externally
Data Storage
All data you create in FlowFocus — including tasks, calendar events, notes, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using the browser's local storage (localStorage) or the device's native storage when running as a native app. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
Because your data is stored locally, it is subject to the security measures of your device and operating system. We recommend keeping your device updated and using a screen lock to protect your data.
No Account Required
FlowFocus does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app. All features are available immediately upon purchase with no registration process.
Data Deletion
You have full control over your data at all times. You can delete all app data through the Settings page using the "Clear All Data" option, which permanently removes all tasks, events, notes, and preferences from your device. Alternatively, uninstalling the app will also remove all stored data.
Third-Party Services
FlowFocus does not integrate with, send data to, or receive data from any third-party services. The app operates entirely offline and does not require an internet connection to function.
The only external interaction occurs through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for the initial purchase and any future app updates. These transactions are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies.
Children's Privacy
FlowFocus does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since the app does not collect any personal information from any user, it is inherently compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and will be included in app updates. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
